2017 Board of Directors Nominations Open May 1

NAUI Worldwide remains a true membership association. Our standards, policies, and ethics are governed by the Association’s Board of Directors, members themselves, who are elected through a democratic election process – each eligible member gets a vote in his/her association.


The Elections Committee is preparing for the 2017 NAUI Board of Directors election. This year there are three (3) BOD positions due for election. Each of these positions has a 4-year term.

The Elections Committee is accepting nominations for the 2017 Board of Directors election beginning May 1, 2017. To be considered, nominees must send their nominations to the Election Coordinator at NAUI Headquarters no later than 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on July 28, 2017.

For 2017, NAUI is seeking nominees with experience in one or more of these areas:
* Finance
* Information Technology
* Legal
* Project Management

Any eligible member wishing to run in the Board of Directors election must complete the Nominee Application Form and obtain 15 endorsements for their nomination. The nominee must submit the completed Nominee Application Form and the signed Nomination Endorsement Forms by the deadline listed above.

The Elections Committee will review the nominee applications and will vet the nominees to develop a candidate slate for the official ballot. Based on three (3) Board position terms ending this year, the Elections Committee will select up to seven (7) nominees for the slate of candidates appearing on the ballot.
