Finding the Lost Treasure of Customer Service: Grow your business by attracting and maintaining life-long customers, presented by David Ochs.

Exceptional customer service is fundamental to success.  The scuba industry has lost sight of this fact, and, as a result, many current customers are not becoming active divers, while new consumers are not being drawn to diving. In turn, the industry has lost the treasure of both customer and consumer business to competing activities. This seminar will examine customer service from a unique perspective, help you define what exceptional service means in your business, and provide ideas for how you can market excellent service to attract and retain long-term customers. By finding the lost treasure of costumer service, scuba professionals will better serve their clients and significantly increase their income.

Techniques to Increase Your Social Media Reach, presented by Derik Crotts.

Get “hip” with the social media scene, because it’s not “ ‘Bout that Bass, No Treble,” as pop artist Meghan Trainor would say. It’s “‘Bout Those Leads, No Trouble.”  To create and maintain a viable social media presence, you must generate leads. And to make social media an effective lead-generation machine, you must generate a “Following” – (fans for Facebook pages, followers for Twitter accounts, and LinkedIn company pages, etc.). The more fans and followers generated from your social media presence, the better audience reach you'll have – which increases your potential to prompt more leads! This presentation includes tricks that many politicians and business leaders use routinely to grow their base, “trouble-free” (as opposed to their bass, “treble-free”).

Two Decades of Deep Stops: Living Lab, presented by T.R. O’ Leary.

Linking a dual phase decompression model to mixed gas diving and training operations; this presentation recounts and explains protocols and diving from 1996 to the present. The training protocols and diver data will describe selected helium-based dives and variable mixes with both open and closed circuits (in the 150 to 300 fsw zones). Repetitive profiles – as used in the technical diver programs – will also be expounded on.  The algorithm and published groupless, no fuss, NAUI-mixed gas decompression tables (with repetitive dive protocols) have seen extensive application in the technical diving sectors from a wide array of mixed gas instructors and divers in a variety of countries (and is currently extending to dive meters in the training field).

Two Decades of Bubbles and Models: Facts and Fallacies, presented by B.R. Wienke.

The past 20+ years have seen a revolution in modern implementations of diving protocols in computers, tables and software.  Taking into account bubbles and what we know about them, these new protocol-coupled models have exhibited both safe and widespread utilization across recreational and technical diving.  Bubbles, models, and impacts upon diving are discussed in this presentation, in addition to facts and misconceptions.  Data statistics, data collection efforts, and profile records are also discussed.
